Privacy policy.
LoweLabs, a trading name for LoweLabs Pty Ltd (ABN 17 701 274 357), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how you can access, correct or raise a concern about it.

The information we collect
We collect personal information you give us directly, for example when you contact us, make an enquiry, or engage us for a piece of work.
In the course of client engagements, we may also receive personal information from clients or their nominated contacts, and from publicly available sources, where it's relevant to the work we've been engaged to do.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver client engagements, and improve the services we provide.
We may also use it to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record-keeping requirements under Australian law.
How we share your information
We may share personal information with contractors and service providers who help us deliver our services, such as hosting, email and productivity tools. We expect these providers to handle information responsibly.
Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected consistently with Australian privacy law.
We do not sell personal information.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics on our marketing pages to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and sends usage data to Google, which may process it outside Australia.
We do not use it on the Data & AI Pulse assessment pages or on the report.
Data & AI Pulse assessment
This section covers the free Data & AI Pulse assessment. The rest of this policy applies as well, including how we share information, security, access and correction, and complaints.
If you take the assessment, we collect your name, work email, role, company name and website, your answers, and the company details you confirm.
We use this to prepare your report, to send it to you after an experienced consultant has reviewed it, and to contact you about it. We email you to say we have your answers, and again when your report is ready. If you start and do not finish, we send one reminder to your confirmed email address. If you tick the marketing box, we may also send you occasional updates. You can opt out at any time.
We use AI to help draft your report. The drafting step receives your scores and category labels only. It does not receive your name, email address, company name or free-text answers. The AI service we use is the Anthropic API, which may process data outside Australia.
Your assessment answers are stored in a database hosted in Australia. We use a bot check on the start form that looks at signals from your browser to tell people from automated traffic.
Your report is at a private link that works for 90 days. Please do not share it. We record when you first open the link and how many times it is opened, so we can send you one follow-up email about 3 days after you first open it. It asks how the report went and offers a time to talk about next steps. You can rate the report from 1 to 5 and leave a comment if you like. If you delete your data, we delete your rating, your comment and this record.
If you start and do not finish, we keep what you entered for 90 days after you last worked on it, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner by replying to our reminder or emailing info@lowelabs.ai.
You can delete your free-text notes and the rest of your assessment at any time using the link in your report email, or by emailing info@lowelabs.ai. If you delete your data, we stop using your email address for marketing.
We keep a record of each report we send and the name, role and email address of the person we sent it to, and the company name and website, so we can show what was created and who received it.
For statistics, to prevent misuse and to apply our rule of one report per organisation in any 30 days, we also keep a record of each submission. It holds the company name and website, the role, your answers to the company profile questions, the score recorded for each survey question, the scores in your report, the dates, the domain of your email address, and scrambled versions of the email address and network address. After you ask us to delete your data, we do not keep your free-text notes.
We keep these records until we no longer have a use for them, and we review them each year.
Security and retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. The Data & AI Pulse records described above are the exception: we keep them for traceability, statistics and to prevent misuse. Unfinished assessments are deleted after 90 days.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
